Adjusted CALD Registration

Effective August 2018, any individual who registers for the MCAL CALD Training Program MUST meet the required training NAB Core and RC/AL exam per-requisites: 1. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of work experience in the continuum of long-term care, including one year in a management or supervisory position. -OR- 2. An associate’s degree, plus one year of work experience in the continuum of long-term care, including six months in a management or supervisory position. - OR – 3. A bachelor’s degree, plus six months of management or supervisory experience in the continuum of long-term care. - OR - 4. Be currently licensed as a long-term care administrator. NOTE: All management or supervisory requirements must be in the long-term care continuum which could be home and community based, assisted living and/or skilled care.
